About the Role
This is a challenging yet rewarding position that requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen sense of empathy. You will work collaboratively with an interprofessional team to assess, treat, and support clients in achieving their goals and improving their overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Providing comprehensive nursing assessments and developing individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the interprofessional team.
- Delivering evidence-based interventions and coordinating care with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless transitions and optimal outcomes.
- Engaging clients and their families in education and support activities, promoting empowerment and self-advocacy.
- Liaising with community agencies and service providers to facilitate access to resources and services.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse and/or Registered Psychiatric Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
- Two years recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
