We are seeking a dedicated and caring individual to join our team at Charlotte Birchard Centres of Early Learning as a Childcare Program Coordinator. This is a full-time position with a salary range of $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.

Job Description:

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing childcare programs that support the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children. You will work closely with early childhood educators to create engaging activities, maintain daycare equipment, and ensure a safe and healthy environment for children.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing childcare programs that meet the needs of children aged 0-12 years
  • Maintaining accurate records of children's progress and development
  • Collaborating with early childhood educators to plan and deliver activities that promote learning and development
  • Providing guidance and support to children in their daily routines, including meal times, rest periods, and bathroom routines
  • Ensuring the health and safety of children by following established protocols and procedures
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience working in a childcare setting
  • A strong understanding of child development theories and practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a post-secondary education in a related field is an asset
