Early Childhood Education Program Lead

About the Role:

Zida Academy is seeking a dedicated and experienced Early Childhood Education Program Lead to oversee the development and implementation of our childcare programs. This is a temporary opportunity with a variable schedule of 30-44 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Supervise staff, trainees, or volunteers to ensure high-quality care and education.
  • Collaborate with early childhood educators to carry out programs that foster children's growth and well-being.
  • Manage daily operations, including ordering supplies and equipment.
  • Promote open communication among team members through regular staff meetings.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a childcare setting, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Knowledge of licensing regulations and ability to maintain compliance.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to establish positive relationships with colleagues and community partners.
  • Proven problem-solving and time management skills.
