About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cleaning and Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Maintenance and Cleaning Company Canada Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and maintenance across our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hire and Train Staff: Recruit and train a team of cleaning staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their duties effectively.
  • Site Inspections: Conduct regular site inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with safety and cleanliness standards.
  • Task Coordination: Coordinate the work activities of cleaning staff, including scheduling and task allocation.
  • Additional Services: Identify and recommend additional services required to maintain our facilities, such as painting, repair work, and equipment replacement.
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Participate in government or community programs that support newcomers and refugees, and assist with their settlement needs.
  • Support for Youths and Mature Workers: Offer on-the-job training and mentorship opportunities for youth and mature workers, and provide a welcoming work environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: Will train or equivalent experience.
  • Work Setting: Cleaning service company or restaurant.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week.
