We are seeking a skilled Cleaning and Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Maintenance and Cleaning Company Canada Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and safety of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Hire and Train Staff: Recruit and train a team of cleaning staff to ensure our facilities are clean and well-maintained.
  • Supervise and Coordinate: Oversee the daily activities of our cleaning staff, ensuring they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Inspect and Report: Conduct regular site inspections to identify areas for improvement and report any issues to management.
  • Recommend Services: Identify additional services required to maintain our facilities, such as painting or repairs, and recommend them to management.
  • Support Newcomers and Refugees: Participate in programs that support newcomers and refugees, including providing assistance with settlement needs and promoting social and labour market integration.
  • Support Youth and Mature Workers: Offer on-the-job training and mentorship to youth and mature workers, and provide a welcoming work environment.
  • Support Visible Minorities: Participate in programs that support visible minorities, promoting diversity and inclusion in the workplace.

Requirements:

  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: Will train or equivalent experience

Hours: 40 hours per week
