We are looking for a skilled Insurance Professional who can thrive in a fast-paced environment, providing exceptional customer service and handling multiple priorities successfully. The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

The estimated salary for this role is $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health and dental insurance, personal spending allowance, RRSP matching, and Employee Share Purchase Plan (ESPP).

This is a permanent full-time opportunity with a minimum of 3 weeks of paid vacation per year. If you are a motivated and customer-focused individual with a passion for the insurance industry, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Servicing ongoing client needs, advising on insurance matters, conducting needs assessments, and recommending solutions
  • Selling new policies and retaining existing business
  • Contacting underwriters and adjusters to discuss guidelines and policy
  • Preparing documentation for insurers, completing applications, issuing certificates, and processing changes
  • Staying current on underwriting rules and workflow processes
  • Participating in training initiatives

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma and/or Post-Secondary Education
  • A valid insurance license or willingness to obtain same
  • Industry accreditation (CAIB, CIP) an asset
  • Proficient in MS Office – Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Excellent customer service skills and conflict resolution abilities
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities successfully
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
