We are seeking a seasoned Clinical Educator to join our team at Equest, a reputable healthcare provider. This pivotal role will involve guiding nursing and personal support workers in developing their competencies to deliver exceptional care.

About the Position

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clinical practice leadership and guidance to enhance the skills of nurses and personal support workers. They will play a crucial part in advancing practice excellence and client-centeredness in care delivery.

This role promotes foundational and advanced practice competencies through knowledge translation at the point-of-care, team-based learning, classroom, and virtual-hybrid teaching modalities. The Clinical Educator will work collaboratively with Professional Practice Leaders to plan, develop, and facilitate education and orientation programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical practice leadership and guidance to enhance the skills of nurses and personal support workers.
  • Develop and maintain competencies to advance practice excellence and client-centeredness in care delivery.
  • Liaise and collaborate with clinical leaders from Equest partners to facilitate communication among teams and co-develop competency training.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A current registration and licensure with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
  • An undergraduate degree in Nursing, preferably with a Graduate Degree program in Nursing or Education.
  • 3-5 years of progressive experience in nursing, with at least 2 years of experience in a home/community setting or 2 years of experience in an acute care setting.
  • Ongoing membership with professional associations, such as RNAO.
Benefits and Compensation

We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $115,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Additionally, you can expect:
