Kitchen Helper Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at Seoul Country Korean Restaurant. As a Kitchen Helper, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen, ensuring that our dishes are prepared and served to our high standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces
  • Assist with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruits
  • Load and unload dishwashers, and wash dishes by hand
  • Restock refrigerators, freezers, and cupboards with supplies
  • Keep records of food quantities and inventory
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by kitchen staff
Requirements:
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy loads
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Reliability and punctuality
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Working Conditions:

The Kitchen Helper will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, with exposure to heat, noise, and physical demands. The successful candidate must be able to work in a team environment and maintain a positive attitude.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Hours of Work:

The Kitchen Helper will work 30-44 hours per week, with flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends.
