Kitchen Helper Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at Seoul Country Korean Restaurant. As a Kitchen Helper, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring that our dishes are prepared and served to our customers in a timely and efficient manner.

Responsibilities:
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces
  • Assist in food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruits
  • Load and unload dishwashers, and wash dishes by hand as needed
  • Restock supplies, including condiments, cleaning products, and paper goods
  • Maintain a clean and organized storage area, including refrigerators, freezers, and cupboards
  • Assist in receiving and storing supplies, including food, beverages, and cleaning products
  • Participate in cleaning and sanitizing the kitchen, including floors, walls, and ceilings
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment an asset
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
Working Conditions:

The Kitchen Helper will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, with exposure to heat, noise, and cleaning chemicals. The successful candidate must be able to work in a team environment and maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Language:

The primary language of communication is English.

Work Schedule:

The Kitchen Helper will work a variable schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
