Kitchen Helper Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at Seoul Country Korean Restaurant. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality.

Responsibilities:
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces
  • Assist with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruits
  • Load and unload dishwashers, and wash dishes by hand
  • Restock refrigerators, freezers, and cupboards with supplies
  • Receive and store incoming supplies, including food and cleaning products
  • Participate in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, including sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors
  • Assist with food packaging and labeling
  • Perform other kitchen-related tasks as assigned by management
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a kitchen environment an asset
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods
Working Conditions:

This is a permanent, full-time position with a variable schedule of 30-44 hours per week. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment and will be expected to maintain a high level of physical fitness.
