We are seeking a highly skilled Janitorial Site Supervisor to join our team at Dexterra. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our site facilities to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate Industrial Janitors and Floor Professionals to ensure efficient and effective cleaning operations.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Assist with general cleaning tasks, including trash removal, dusting, and cleaning of restrooms, break rooms, offices, and production areas.
  • Perform floor maintenance tasks, such as sweeping, mopping, and buffing floors, as well as stripping and waxing floors.
  • Coach and train staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Ensure all health and safety processes are completed and compliant.
  • Manage budgets and financial resources to ensure efficient use of resources.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years residency in Canada for clearance purposes.
  • Floor care experience is required, with the ability to scrub, buff, and polish floors.
  • Able to operate cleaning equipment and machinery, including auto scrubbers and swing machines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to bend, turn, stoop, stand, reach high and low, lift and carry up to 50 lbs. for 3 to 8 hours per shift.
  • A clear criminal background check is required for this role.
  • Basic computer skills are required.
