About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Building Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Perfect Janitorial Services. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our apartment/condominium complex.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sweep, mop, scrub and wax hallways, floors and stairs to maintain a high level of cleanliness and safety.
  • Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris and other refuse, ensuring a clean and healthy environment for our residents.
  • Empty trash cans and other waste containers regularly to prevent odors and pests.
  • Wash windows, interior walls and ceilings to maintain a clean and visually appealing appearance.
  • Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs as needed.
  • Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair to maintain the overall appearance and functionality of the building.
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens to create a welcoming and natural environment.
  • Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures to maintain a high level of hygiene and cleanliness.
  • Work with minimal supervision to demonstrate your independence and ability to work effectively with minimal guidance.
  • Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas to ensure safe access for residents and visitors.
Requirements
  • Criminal record check to ensure a safe and secure environment for our residents.
  • Work Term: Permanent to provide stability and security for our team.
  • Work Language: English to effectively communicate with our residents and team members.
  • Hours: 30 hours per week to ensure a manageable workload and work-life balance.
