Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at 15229898 Canada Inc. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish Work Schedules: Develop and implement efficient work schedules to meet the needs of our customers and staff.
  • Requisition Food and Supplies: Order and manage the inventory of food and kitchen supplies to ensure that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
  • Supervise Staff: Lead and train a team of food service staff to ensure that they are providing excellent customer service and preparing high-quality food.
  • Train Staff: Develop and implement training programs to ensure that staff have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Plan and estimate the ingredients and supplies needed to prepare meals and snacks.
  • Hire Staff: Recruit and hire qualified staff to join our team.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all food and service meet our high standards of quality and safety.
  • Budgeting: Prepare and manage budgets to ensure that we are operating within our financial means.
  • Customer Service: Respond to customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis.

Support for Youths:
  • Youth Training: Offer on-the-job training tailored to youth.
  • Awareness Training: Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.
Support for Veterans:
  • Veteran Recruitment: Recruit Veterans who were displaced by a conflict or natural disaster.
  • Transition Support: Offer workshops, counselling services, or other resources to help Veterans navigate their transition into the civilian workforce.
  • Skills Translation: Support Veterans in translating their military skills and experience into the language of the civilian job market.
  • Flexible Onboarding: Offer flexible onboarding options to allow Veterans to gradually adapt to the civilian workplace.
Support for Indigenous People:
  • Cultural Competency: Provide cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
Support for Mature Workers:
  • Age Discrimination: Apply hiring policies that discourage age discrimination.
  • Awareness Training: Provide staff with awareness training to create a welcoming work environment for mature workers.
  • Phased Retirement: Offer phased retirement options that allow mature workers to gradually reduce their workload.
  • Phased Re-entry: Offer phased re-entry options for mature workers who are returning to work after retiring.
Support for Visible Minorities:
