Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at SUBWAY SANDWICHES & SALADS. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring that our food and service meet the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish efficient methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, providing training in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Establish work schedules and ensure that all tasks are completed in a timely manner.
  • Support newcomers and refugees by assisting with immediate settlement needs, recruiting new staff, and supporting foreign credential recognition.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of quality control.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
