Job Description

The Marketing Strategy Director will drive growth, retention, and customer engagement by developing, executing, and optimizing comprehensive marketing strategies. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure marketing initiatives are iterative, data-driven, and aligned with Cogeco's overall strategic goals.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Create and implement marketing strategies that drive customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth in target markets.
  • Design, launch, and manage multi-channel marketing campaigns while ensuring the user experience meets the acceptance criteria.
  • Conduct competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the telecommunications sector to remain competitive across all channels and touchpoints.
  • Oversee the creation of compelling content, including emails, direct mailing, case studies, and presentations, tailored for B2B/B2C audiences.
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics, using data-driven insights to refine marketing strategies and improve ROI.
  • Manage the marketing budget effectively, ensuring all initiatives are cost-efficient and aligned with business objectives.
  • Act as a key member of a cross-functional squad, contributing to the development and execution of agile marketing strategies that respond to market needs and customer feedback.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of B2B/B2C marketing principles, particularly in the telecommunications industry.
  • Proven track record in developing and executing successful marketing strategies that drive growth and customer engagement.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools and sales platforms (Salesforce, Google Analytics, LinkedIn Ads, etc.).
  • Bilingual: Fluent in both English and French to effectively communicate with stakeholders across Canada and the United States is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field. A Master's degree or MBA is a plus.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in marketing, preferably within the telecommunications sector.
  • Experience working in an agile team or squad, with a solid understanding of agile practices is a plus.
Location and Benefits

This role is based in Montréal, QC, and offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $160,000 per year, depending on experience. Additional benefits include a dynamic work environment, opportunities for professional growth and development, and a comprehensive compensation package.
