About the Role:


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physiotherapist to lead our Ambulatory Programs team at Baycrest. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our patients and their families.


Job Summary:


The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of physiotherapy professionals in providing high-quality care to patients with complex geriatric, neurological, and musculoskeletal conditions. As a key member of our inter-professional team, you will work collaboratively to develop and implement comprehensive care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Lead and manage a team of physiotherapy professionals to provide evidence-based care to patients
  • Develop and implement clinical programs and services that align with Baycrest's strategic objectives
  • Collaborate with inter-professional teams to ensure seamless transitions of care and optimal patient outcomes
  • Mentor and supervise physiotherapy students and new staff members to promote knowledge sharing and skill development
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and experience
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices and research in physiotherapy to inform practice and program development

Requirements:



  • Degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution
  • Current registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a leadership role within a healthcare setting
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve exceptional results
  • Familiarity with Baycrest's policies, procedures, and systems preferred
