About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Physiotherapy Helper to join our team at 2532383 ONTARIO INC. as a key member of our healthcare support staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Healthcare Professionals: Collaborate with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Rehabilitation Programs: Assist in the development and implementation of treatment programs for patients with various injuries or disabilities, under the direction of physiotherapists and/or occupational therapists.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient rehabilitation progress, including documentation of treatment plans, patient interactions, and outcomes.
  • Inventory Management: Manage and maintain inventory of equipment, supplies, and materials, ensuring that they are properly stored, cleaned, and maintained.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the healthcare team, including scheduling appointments, processing files and paperwork, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Develop and maintain effective communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with patients, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Setting: Hospital/medical facility or clinic.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Availability: Availability for shift or on-call work.
