Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Occupational Health and Safety Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing hazardous building materials abatement/remediation and occupational hygiene assessment services to our clients in Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and Northwest Ontario.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and guidance on occupational health and safety projects, including proposal development, project planning, execution, monitoring, and control.
- Develop and implement hazard assessments, risk management strategies, and safety protocols for clients.
- Conduct site visits and audits to identify potential hazards and develop corrective actions.
- Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure effective project delivery.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in occupational health and safety consulting or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and industry standards.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills.
