Job Summary:

The successful candidate will collaborate with clients to plan and design services that meet occupational performance goals, support healthy lifestyles, prevent illness and disability, and promote health. Our Occupational Therapist will work closely with other disciplines to provide high-quality client care.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans to address clients' needs and goals.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Provide education and training to clients and their families on occupational therapy techniques and strategies.
  • Maintain accurate records of client progress and treatment plans.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance client care.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Manitoba (COTM).
  • Membership in the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists and Manitoba Society of Occupational Therapists (MSOT) is an asset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
