Travel Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a compassionate and caring LPN to join our team at a beautiful Long-Term Care/Assisted Living Facility in Williams Lake, British Columbia.

Contract Details
  • Contract duration: 3-6 months or more
  • Location: Williams Lake, B.C.
  • Start date: ASAP
Compensation

$44.00 per hour

Extended benefits for candidates taking contract for 6 months or more

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Perform assessments
  • Plan, implement, and provide personal and nursing care to residents
  • Administer oral and subcutaneous medications in accordance with pharmaceutical and organizational policies and procedures
  • Directly supervise care staff to meet resident's needs
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Graduation from an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing Program
  • Current registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of BC
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification
  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing
  • Knowledge and background in Dementia care (preferred)
Job Type and Schedule

Casual

8 hour shift

Day shift, Evening shift, Night shift, On call, Weekends as needed
