Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse - Emergency Department

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in the Emergency Department. This is a project-based position with competitive pay and opportunities for advancement. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 6 months of experience and will be working in a fast-paced environment with a full scope of practice.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the nursing facility's policies, procedures, and standards are followed.
  • Complete medical records in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Ensure a safe and sanitary environment by adhering to local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Monitor and evaluate patient health status and progress.
  • Communicate with physicians and staff members to plan patient care.
  • Provide information regarding the status of patients to physicians or other care providers.
Qualifications:
  • Must be a Registered Practical Nurse with current licensure.
  • Active BLS/CPR Certification.
  • Active ACLS Certification (Preferred).
  • Knowledge of the Emergency department required.
  • Immunization Record (MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Two-Step TB (Or Chest X-Ray if two-step TB is not available)).
