Job Summary:

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will work in the Emergency Department with a full scope of practice. This is a project-based position with competitive pay and opportunities for advancement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure adherence to nursing facility policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Complete medical records in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Maintain a safe and sanitary environment by adhering to local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Monitor and evaluate patient health status and progress.
  • Communicate with physicians and staff members to plan patient care.
  • Provide information regarding patient status to physicians or other care providers.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must:

  • Be a Registered Practical Nurse with current licensure.
  • Hold active BLS/CPR Certification.
  • Have active ACLS Certification (Preferred).
  • Have knowledge of the Emergency Department.
  • Provide immunization records (MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Two-Step TB, or Chest X-Ray if Two-Step TB is not available).

  • On-call shifts.
  • Overtime.
  • Weekends as needed.
Location:

This role is based in Williams Lake, BC, with the option to commute or relocate with an employer-provided relocation package.
