Roquette, a global leader in plant-based ingredients and pharmaceutical excipients, is seeking a talented Plant Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations leadership, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth, reducing costs, and ensuring the highest quality products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute operations strategies to meet business requirements and drive cost reductions.
- Lead and manage Roquette Pea site manufacturing, maintenance, and environmental/health/safety teams.
- Manage key partner relationships and performance.
- Develop and execute an operations strategy to meet and exceed key company performance goals.
- Take a customer-centric approach to supply chain management and demonstrate commitment to quality and delivery.
- Lead and direct health, safety, and environmental compliance and culture across the organization.
- Sponsor Lean Six Sigma projects and participate in project reviews.
- Engage the organization in cycle time improvement through Lean and Kaizen events.
- Develop key organizational capabilities to improve performance using methodologies like Lean Six Sigma and Operational Excellence.
- Collaborate with functional areas to ensure alignment with key priorities.
- Motivate and develop top talent across the organization.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, or operations management.
- 15+ years of experience in operations, manufacturing, or a related discipline.
- Expertise in strategy development, cost management, and continuous improvement.
- Demonstrated ability to manage capital expenditures, budgeting, and expense control.
- Innovative thinker with experience in new process technology and process engineering leadership.
- Ability to work effectively in a matrix organization.
- Demonstrated understanding and commitment to EHS development and compliance.
