About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Montreal. As a key member of our Design and Engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems for building projects, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop mechanical systems for building projects, including HVAC, hydronics, plumbing, and fire protection systems
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to support the implementation of process engineering systems
  • Participate in site assessments and reviews to verify the performance and functionality of mechanical systems
  • Provide technical support to project teams, contractors, and clients, and actively participate in project planning and coordination efforts
  • Assist in the preparation of engineering calculations, reports, and stay updated with advancements in mechanical engineering technologies and best practices
Requirements
  • 7-10 years of experience in mechanical design for industrial and transit facilities, with a strong background in automotive facilities being an asset
  • Hold a professional engineering license (P.Eng.) and have a comprehensive understanding of AutoCAD MEP, MicroStation, Revit, 3D software, and related tools
  • Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills for effective internal and client interactions
  • Exhibit the ability to work on multiple project assignments
  • Legally authorized to work in Canada without sponsorship
  • Show proven experience in collaborating with clients, contractors, and other consultants
  • Possess an excellent understanding of the Quebec Building Code, Quebec Fire Code, Plumbing Code, NFPA, ASHRAE standards
