We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team at Solaris Management Consultants Inc. Our company is a leading provider of engineering and project services for the energy industry, with a strong focus on sustainability and decarbonization.

The successful candidate will have a degree in Civil Engineering and be registered or eligible to register as a P. Eng with EGBC. They will have at least 10 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in civil design and project management.

Key responsibilities will include providing accurate civil designs, leading a small team of civil engineers and designers, and ensuring projects are executed efficiently and effectively. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a high degree of professionalism.

As a Lead Civil Engineer at Solaris, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, including natural gas, LNG, and renewable energy initiatives. You will be part of a flat team structure, with opportunities for growth and development through internal training and mentorship programs.

We offer a competitive compensation package, including a 37.5-hour work week with Fridays being WFH and half days. Our company culture is diverse and inclusive, valuing individual contributions and promoting a healthy work-life balance.

Key qualifications include:

  • Post-secondary education with a degree in Civil Engineering
  • Registration or eligibility to register as a P. Eng with EGBC
  • 10+ years of experience in a similar role

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
