Accounts Receivable Coordinator

The Artona Group, a leading provider of photography services in Western Canada, is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join its finance team. About The RoleWe are looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual to process customer invoices accurately and in a timely manner. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of AR principles and practices, as well as proficiency in using cloud-based financial software and tools. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role, as you will be working closely with the sales and operations teams to resolve billing discrepancies and issues.
Responsibilities- Generate and process customer invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
- Verify the accuracy of billing information, including product details and pricing.
- Match invoices with orders and receiving documentation.
- Code invoices with appropriate account codes and expense categories.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date records and documentation.
- Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on overdue payments.
- Contact clients to remind them of outstanding balances and coordinate payment arrangements.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns related to invoices and payments.
- Collaborate with the sales and operations teams to resolve billing discrepancies and issues.
- Prepare and distribute regular reports on accounts status and collections.
- Reconcile payment discrepancies and ensure accurate accounting of transactions.
- Experience in an Accounts Receivable role.
- Understanding of AR principles and practices.
- Proficiency in using cloud-based financial software and tools.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial recordkeeping.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Organizational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
