About the Role
This production chemistry position ensures high-quality output in our analytical laboratory.
The ideal candidate will operate and maintain analytical balances, accurately weigh pulp samples, inspect prepared pulp samples for homogeneity, and report quality concerns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately perform analytical tasks within established methods and schedules.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure compliance with ALS Health and Safety Program.
- Assist in preparing solutions, organizing workload, and completing documentation.
- Collaborate with team members to meet strict deadlines and adhere to quality standards.
- Participate in incident investigations and report safety concerns to the Analytical Laboratory Manager.
Requirements
- Recognized Diploma or Degree in Sciences required.
- Basic computer skills in software applications and ability to work independently or under supervision.
- Good hand-eye coordination, listening skills, and organizational abilities.
