Executive Director

Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Post-secondary degree program, or equivalent professional experience
    • Masters, (preferably in Business Admin) or related is an advantage
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Highly organized and experienced leader
    • Proven ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders
    • Self-starter with the ability to work independently
    • A 3-5 year minimum working experience successfully managing people and programs
    • Solid understanding of financing, strategic planning, and budget preparation
    • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate with volunteers, boards, committees
    • Able to interpret by-laws, current legislation, acts, and regulations. Experience in governance is an asset
    • Strong public speaking skills
    • Excellent communication skills in English
    • Must demonstrate advanced digital literacy and ability to work with/administer platforms and toolsets that facilitate online organizational work, particularly the Microsoft Office suite
Work Environment

The Executive Director will work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a focus on community development and engagement. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, a collaborative leader, and a passionate advocate for our mission.

Salary

$80,000 - $90,000 per year, based on experience
