We are seeking an experienced mental health professional to join our team as a Senior Consultant. In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting the development, implementation, and evaluation of core mental health services, standards, guidelines, and best practices.

About the Opportunity

The successful candidate will report to the Manager, MHA Program Development, and will be responsible for facilitating the implementation plan associated with health services planning. You will contribute to transformational improvement initiatives, including developing and implementing new models of service delivery, and supporting workforce development projects.

You will work closely with the Manager, MHA Program Planning, and MHA Program Planning Project Managers to strengthen program planning and development activities in support of advancing transformational initiatives in Mental Health.

In addition, you will lead capacity building within the MH&A Development team regarding evidence-based policies and best practices.

About You
  • A Bachelor's Degree in a health-related discipline (Health Promotion, Public Health, or Health Education preferred)
  • At least five years of experience utilizing health promotion frameworks to inform policy changes and develop programs aimed at promoting health, preventing disease, and enhancing population health outcomes
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data and communicate results effectively to key audiences
  • Background and experience in research methods, policy development, analysis, and critical appraisal, including awareness of evidence-informed decision making
  • Demonstrated excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills, including report writing and presentation/engagement skills
  • Understanding of project management and change management principles, with the ability to create and lead complex work teams
  • Demonstrated knowledge of evidence-informed decision making to support high-quality program development, policy, and practice
  • Experience with data management and data analysis, with proficiency in software such as R, SAS, Stata, and Microsoft Office
