Senior Claims Adjuster, Casualty and Litigation

As a Senior Consultant on the Digital Distribution team, you will work collaboratively with various stakeholders across Intact and with broker partners in West, Ontario and Atlantic Canada. You will help plan, coordinate and drive projects that support the growth and engagement of the digital acquisition program and play a key advisory role in supporting digital initiatives. You will work closely with teams across the department to monitor and analyze results and recommend strategies to optimize performance.
The successful candidate must be based in our Toronto, Calgary or Dartmouth offices.
What you'll do here:- Monitor the day-to-day operations of the acquisition program, review results and recommend solutions to optimize performance.
- Foster broker relationships to strengthen the acquisition program and maintain open lines of communication to support their needs.
- Work closely with stakeholders to identify and address issues in a timely manner.
- Establish relationships and collaborate effectively with Digital Distribution teams and other Intact departments to improve and enhance digital operations and build efficiencies.
- Actively participate in digitally focused meetings by providing recommendations and input with respect to program concerns, improvements, market trends and customer experience.
- Build awareness and champion the acquisition program within other business units at Intact.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Communication or combination of education and relevant experience.
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience such as project management / business analysis / continuous improvement / data analysis / communication.
- At least 1 year of experience in the damage insurance industry.
- Exceptional communication skills – verbal, written, visual.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret results.
- Naturally curious with a solutions-oriented mindset.
- Ability to proactively and autonomously prioritize and manage several tasks simultaneously.
- Comfortable interacting with a variety of people at all levels of the organization (including senior management) and brokers.
- A thorough understanding of personal and commercial lines damage insurance will be considered a major asset.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
- Leadership skills, independent and efficient.
- A team player who collaborates effectively.
- Understanding of the broker channel operations is a definite asset.
- Bilingualism (English / French) is an asset.
