Job Summary

CIMA+ is seeking a seasoned Transportation Safety and Forensic Engineering Expert to join our expanding team in Ontario and Canada. As a key member of our practice, you will play a crucial role in conducting comprehensive assessments of transportation-related incidents, collisions, or losses.

You will provide expert opinions to government agencies, legal counsel, insurance companies, and other private entities involved in liability matters. Responsibilities
  • Prepare and manage transportation engineering and safety studies for various facilities and clients.
  • Analyze data, conduct field investigations, and assess projects related to transportation risk, forensics, operations, and safety.
  • Effectively communicate investigation findings to colleagues and clients.
  • Develop reports, proposals, and supporting materials.
  • Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, cooperation, and collaboration.
Requirements
  • A university degree in Civil Engineering or Transportation Engineering.
  • Registered Professional Engineer in Ontario.
  • Working knowledge of industry guidelines, including OTM, TAC/MTO Geometric Design, MUTCDC, and Highway Safety Manual.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Ability to undertake field assessments, requiring a valid Ontario driver's license.
