Job Title: Research and Development Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Research and Development Manager to join our team at E. Hofmann Plastics, Inc.

Job Summary:

The Research and Development Manager will be responsible for leading the development of new products and processes, as well as improving existing ones. This role will involve working closely with cross-functional teams to design, test, and implement new tools, moulds, and fixtures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development of new products and processes, including design, testing, and implementation.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and services.
  • Collaborate with the manufacturing team to ensure smooth production and quality control.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as engineering or business.
  • 5+ years of experience in a related field, preferably in plastics manufacturing.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
