We are seeking a highly skilled Research and Development Manager to join our team at E. Hofmann Plastics, Inc. This is a permanent position that requires a strong background in plastics manufacturing and research.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Hire, Train, Direct, and Motivate Staff: Lead a team of 16-20 people in various areas of responsibility, including plastics processing machine operators.
  • Prepare Budget and Cost Estimates: Develop and manage budgets and cost estimates for research and development projects.
  • Design Tools, Moulds, Jigs, and Fixtures: Design and develop tools, moulds, jigs, and fixtures for plastics manufacturing.
  • Supervise Staff: Supervise staff in various areas of responsibility, including plastics processing machine operators.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience: 5 years or more of experience in plastics manufacturing and research.
  • Skills: Excellent oral communication, initiative, judgement, organized, team player, efficient interpersonal skills.
