About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Research and Development Manager to join our team at E. Hofmann Plastics, Inc. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the development of new products and processes, as well as overseeing the training and direction of staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Product Development: Design and develop new tools, moulds, jigs, and fixtures to improve manufacturing efficiency and product quality.
  • Staff Management: Hire, train, and direct staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Budgeting and Cost Estimation: Prepare and manage budgets and cost estimates to ensure the successful execution of projects.
  • Manufacturing Oversight: Supervise the production process to ensure that products meet quality and safety standards.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience: 5 years or more of experience in plastics manufacturing and research and development.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
