Mortgage Support Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Mortgage Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will provide exceptional administrative support to a top-producing Mortgage Specialist, ensuring seamless execution of sales objectives and activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide superior responsive service to clients through timely management of client requests via email, fax, and phone.
- Execute and deliver client transactions/requests with precision and speed.
- Familiarize yourself with key referral sources and possess in-depth knowledge of the mortgage process to facilitate solutions and problem resolutions.
- Maintain up-to-date skills and knowledge to meet position requirements.
- Stay informed about current events, market news, and internal information on RBCnet and applicable internal sites.
- Manage the Mortgage Specialist's email/mail, proactively responding to correspondence/requests and prioritizing for the Mortgage Specialist to read.
- Ensure the Mortgage Specialist's diary is effectively time managed to create capacity for all required activities.
- Manage office routines and expenses, ensuring efficiency is maintained through availability of equipment and supplies and effective management of files and records.
- Identify the Mortgage Specialist's needs and provide required information/documents for them to complete duties.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of demonstrated excellence in a service and sales support role working in collaboration with a sales team providing advice and responding to client requests.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Excellent communication skills, oral/written skills, good business writing.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize.
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office including Word, Power Point, Excel, Outlook.
- Experience with emerging communications and technology (i.e., web-based meetings, social media, digital banking, and mobile applications).
Estimated Salary Range
$60,000 - $80,000 per annum, based on location and experience.
