Distribution Center Supervisor

Job Summary:
The Chefs' Warehouse is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to lead our logistics team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our warehouse, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate a team of warehouse staff to achieve high levels of productivity and efficiency.
- Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Ensure that all warehouse operations are conducted in a safe and efficient manner, with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
- Manage inventory levels and ensure that all stock is accurately recorded and stored.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure that all materials and equipment are delivered on time and to the required quality standards.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as necessary.
- Ensure that all warehouse staff are properly trained and equipped to perform their duties safely and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records and reports to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics management role.
- Proven track record of improving efficiency and reducing costs in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team of warehouse staff.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to improve warehouse operations.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems and other logistics software.
