We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Distribution Center Operations Lead to assist in the implementation of efficient and profitable processes related to e-commerce fulfillment. This role serves as a hands-on leader for the E-commerce Distribution Center and the Operations Associates.

This role reports to the Distribution Center Operations Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the Distribution Center, including freight, returns, receiving, parcels, and transfers.
  • Lead a team of 6-8 people to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve unparalleled productivity and accuracy.
  • Manage daily plans to exceed expectations for productivity and accuracy.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
  • Troubleshoot opportunities with inventory and scanning labels.
  • Prepare shipments according to orders and assist with loading outgoing items on trucks.
  • Maintain and follow safety protocols for workers and equipment.
  • Investigate and resolve inconsistencies with inventory.
  • Manage the reception of goods stored in the warehouse.
  • Manage the movement of trailers and onsite storage to prevent product loss due to aging inventory.
  • Conduct safety training and talks with the team to prevent safety issues.
  • Procure, maintain, and organize all inventory and supplies to meet work demands.
  • Manage internal controls, productivity, and operational procedures to efficiently process orders.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment to hit productivity standards.
  • Bend, lift, open, and move product up to 50lbs consistently.
  • Able to unload and load delivery vehicles.
  • A critical component is to be able to identify numbers and characters clearly.
  • 1-2 years of warehouse operations experience, including managing people.
  • Able to quickly learn new technology applications (i.e. Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365), Salesforce).
