We are seeking a highly motivated E-commerce Distribution Center Operations Lead to assist in the implementation of efficient and profitable processes related to e-commerce fulfillment. This role serves as a hands-on leader for the E-commerce Distribution Center and the Operations Associates, reporting directly to the Distribution Center Operations Manager.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Distribution Center, encompassing freight, returns, receiving, parcels, and transfers.
  • Lead a team of 6-8 warehouse associates to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Manage daily plans to exceed expectations for productivity and accuracy in order fulfillment.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
  • Troubleshoot opportunities related to inventory management and scanning labels.
  • Prepare shipments according to orders and assist with loading outgoing items onto trucks.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols for both workers and equipment.
  • Investigate and resolve inconsistencies with inventory records.
  • Manage the reception of goods destined for storage within the warehouse.
  • Oversee the movement of trailers and onsite storage to prevent product loss due to aging inventory.
  • Conduct regular safety training sessions and discussions with the team to promote a safe working environment.
  • Procure, maintain, and organize all necessary inventory and supplies to meet operational demands.
  • Manage internal controls, productivity, and operational procedures to efficiently process orders.
Qualifications:
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced warehouse environment and consistently meet 'units per hour' productivity standards.
  • Physical capability to bend, lift, open, and move product weighing up to 50lbs regularly.
  • Skill in unloading and loading delivery vehicles safely and efficiently.
  • Strong ability to clearly identify numbers and characters.
  • 1-2 years of warehouse operations experience preferred, including supervisory responsibilities.
  • Proficiency in learning new technology applications, such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) and Salesforce.
