About the Role

Morningstar DBRS is seeking a seasoned executive to lead our Canadian operations and drive business growth in the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a business strategy to drive revenue growth and profitability in Canada
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including c-suite executives, regulators, and industry leaders
  • Oversee the development and implementation of credit rating policies and procedures in Canada
  • Collaborate with global teams to ensure consistency and alignment with Morningstar DBRS's global strategy
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the Canadian team, including talent development and management
Requirements
  • Executive-level experience in a multinational credit rating agency or global financial services company
  • Fixed income issuer, intermediary, and/or investor experience
  • Established relationship experience at the c-suite level in private and public credit markets
  • Credible with all market constituencies and experienced in interacting with senior management
  • Solid understanding of credit risk analysis and fixed income analytical tools
