Head of Canada, Morningstar DBRS

Morningstar DBRS is seeking a seasoned executive to lead our Canadian operations as the Head of Canada. This pivotal role will partner with functions across the company to serve the Canadian public and private fixed income markets.
Key Responsibilities- Drive business development and expansion in the Canadian market, leveraging relationships with key stakeholders and identifying new opportunities for growth.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to increase revenue and profitability, working closely with the Global Credit Leadership Team and functional leaders.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior Canadian stakeholders, including c-suite executives and regulatory bodies.
- Represent Morningstar DBRS at industry events and conferences, promoting the company's brand and expertise.
- Collaborate with the Canadian team to attract, develop, and retain top talent, ensuring the team is equipped to deliver exceptional results.
- Executive-level experience in a multinational credit rating agency or global financial services company.
- Fixed income issuer, intermediary, and/or investor experience.
- Established relationships at the c-suite level in private and public credit markets.
- Credible with all market constituencies and experienced in interacting with senior management.
- Solid understanding of credit risk analysis and fixed income analytical tools.
