Job Title: Quality Assurance Automation Specialist

Are you a skilled professional looking for a challenging role that combines quality assurance and automation testing? We're seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Quality Assurance Automation Specialist.

About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products by designing, developing, and maintaining automation testing frameworks. You will work closely with development teams to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance the overall quality of our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop automation testing frameworks to ensure the quality of our software products
  • Work closely with development teams to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions
  • Maintain and improve existing automation testing frameworks
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of automation testing into the development process
  • Develop and maintain test automation scripts using various tools and technologies
  • Identify and report defects and provide recommendations for improvement
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in software development and automated testing tools
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies (functional vs non-functional testing)
  • Experience working in agile teams using Scrum or Kanban
  • Ability to execute QE activities within sprint and work closely with development and business teams to plan, report, prioritize and drive continuous improvement
  • Experience with cross-browser and cross-device testing for web and mobile applications
  • Experience working on automation frameworks for mobile and web applications using Appium and Selenium
  • Strong coding skills with Java, JavaScript, Python, etc.
  • Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins)
  • Experience with testing REST API and proficiency in use of API testing tools – Postman and Swagger
  • Hands-on experience with identifying defects, minimizing steps to replicate and log issues into a defect tracking tool (JIRA or similar ticketing systems)
