About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to work with a leading financial institution, Scotiabank, and contribute to the development of our automation testing capabilities. As a Quality Assurance Automation Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automation frameworks to ensure the quality of our software applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop automation frameworks using Appium and Selenium
  • Develop and maintain test automation scripts to ensure high-quality software applications
  • Collaborate with development teams to identify and prioritize automation testing opportunities
  • Provide training and support to development teams on automation testing best practices
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in automation testing
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in software development and automated testing tools
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies (functional vs non-functional testing)
  • Experience working in agile teams using Scrum or Kanban
  • Strong coding skills with Java, JavaScript, or Python
  • Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins)
