Business Analyst (BA) - ERP Transformation

Vantix Systems Inc is seeking a seasoned Business Analyst (BA) with expertise in complex large-scale SAP ERP project implementations to join their ERP Business Analyst Team. The ideal candidate will serve as a conduit between Information Technology (IT) and the business for their Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Transformation.

The successful candidate will work 100% remotely within Canada and possess a strong understanding of business processes, technical environments, and project management principles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain process flows, requirements, and business cases through interviews, document analysis, and requirements workshops.
  • Collaborate with business clients and areas to plan, execute, and support requirements, and translate conceptual user requirements into functional requirements.
  • Conduct System Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing, and lead testing activities.
  • Manage defects, logging, tracking, and resolution during testing phases.
  • Develop process maps, models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to clarify and validate processes with the business and guide development and implementation teams.
  • Apply risk management, issues management, and change management principles.
  • Utilize ERP implementation experience, preferably with SAP solutions, and expertise in Finance, General Ledger, and Fixed Asset Management.
Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience with planning, creating, organizing, scheduling, prioritizing, and executing business analysis activities, including approval processes.
  • Facilitating requirements gathering sessions and documenting requirements to support execution of change management, business readiness, and business process changes.
  • Defining measurable evaluation criteria to assess the success of the change.
  • Developing and documenting a traceability matrix to ensure requirements are complete and identify requirements relationships to the solution.
  • Making decisions and recommendations on highly technical or complex issues.
  • Establishing methods and tools to support documenting current and future business requirements.
  • Developing and documenting system user access and training documentation.
  • Analyzing and defining business requirements for determining roles, relationships, and data structures.
  • Leading and/or assisting in developing, reviewing, and updating project deliverables.
