Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Develop and maintain strong relationships with students, staff, and the public, providing accurate information and resolving customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Cash Handling: Process cash and card payments, manage cash floats, and balance cash transactions to ensure accuracy and security.
  • Store Operations: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including dusting shelves, polishing glass, and restocking products as needed.
  • Inventory Management: Receive and verify deliveries, communicate discrepancies to management, and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Support Services: Provide support to the Retail Services Coordinator and General Merchandise Buyer, including processing customer transactions and restocking products during busy periods.
Requirements
  • Education: Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent, plus one-year post-secondary education.
  • Experience: Two+ years recent customer service, retail, and/or cashier experience required.
  • Skills: Strong customer service skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in point-of-sale systems and Microsoft Office.
