Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Clinical Mentor in the Emergency Department at Prince Rupert Regional Hospital. As a Clinical Mentor, you will play a key role in providing clinical guidance and support to nursing staff, promoting excellence in client care and contributing to the development of our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical mentorship and practice support to nursing staff in the Emergency Department
  • Collaborate with nurse educators to develop and implement clinical education programs
  • Contribute to the development of clinical practice guidelines and standards
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance client care and safety
  • Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff in the Emergency Department
Requirements
  • Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)
  • Three (3) years of relevant nursing practice, including experience mentoring nursing staff and leadership training
  • Valid BC Driver's License and access to a personal vehicle may be required
