Job Title: Registered Nurse


Job Summary:


As a Registered Nurse at St. Boniface Hospital, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This position requires recent surgical nursing experience and a commitment to ongoing education and professional development.


Responsibilities:


• Provide independent nursing services to patients with complex and unpredictable health needs


• Administer prescribed medical treatments and medications


• Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care and discharge plans


• Participate in professional associations and maintain current registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (CRNM)


Requirements:


• Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing education program


• Current CRNM registration


• Active participation in professional associations (e.g., Association of Registered Nurses of Manitoba)


• Successful completion of an approved Cardiac Rhythms course


Preferred Qualifications:


• Recent surgical nursing experience


• Current experience working on the unit


• Scope of practice as documented in the Regulated Health Professions Act (RHPA)
