About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Team Leader to join our team at Saskatchewan Ltd.

As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the success of our food service operations. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences and has a proven track record in team leadership.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Leading and Managing Staff: Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and maintain a high level of employee morale and engagement.
  • Food Quality and Safety: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Customer Service: Establish methods to meet work schedules, prepare and submit reports, and prepare food order summaries for chef.
  • Work Environment: Maintain a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and relevant training or certification in food service management.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory role within a fast-paced food service environment.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills, ability to multitask, and a strong understanding of food safety and quality control principles.
  • Availability: Willingness to relocate and work flexible hours as required.
Compensation

This is a permanent position offering a competitive salary range of $55,000 - $65,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for career advancement.
