Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Steel Stud Framer to join our team at Revelstoke Steel Ltd. As a Steel Stud Framer, you will be responsible for installing exterior and interior steel studs in various construction settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements
  • Prepare layouts in accordance with building codes, using measuring tools
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials
  • Schedule and coordinate work on sites
  • Supervise other workers and ensure efficient project completion
  • Estimate costs and materials for projects
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the field
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
Work Environment

As a Steel Stud Framer at Revelstoke Steel Ltd, you will work in various construction settings, including commercial and residential projects. You will be required to work at heights and in confined spaces.
