We are seeking a skilled Steel Stud Framer to join our team at ALL TYPE CONTRACTING LTD.

Job Summary:

The Steel Stud Framer will be responsible for preparing layouts, measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials. The successful candidate will build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems. Additionally, the Steel Stud Framer will fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools.
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
  • Fitting and installing windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in the field.
  • Ability to work in a noisy environment.
  • Physically demanding work.
  • Tight deadlines.
