Job Title: Steel Stud Framer

We are seeking a skilled Steel Stud Framer to join our team at 0990135 B.C. LTD.

Job Summary:

The Steel Stud Framer will be responsible for preparing layouts, measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials. The successful candidate will build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools.
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
  • Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants, and other establishments.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the field.
  • Combination of sitting, standing, walking.
  • Large workload.
  • Physically demanding.
